Biography

Ishmam is enrolled in the Schulich School of Engineering. He was always curious about the mechanism of machines. This curiosity gradually turned into passion and he aspires to provide efficient and innovative engineering solutions to day-to-day problems. His career goals are to become a successful engineer, obviously! He hopes to work on the technological sectors in order to achieve excellence.

Ishmam had graduated from Manarat Dhaka. During his high school years, his top three achievements were being the World Highest in CIE A level Mathematics, being School Prefect, and being captain of the high school soccer team. He chose UCalgary as the it provides education unparalleled to any other institution. The modern campus along with the Olympic Oval really fascinated him.

The award means a lot to him. Not only did it provide him with financial ease, it also encouraged him and acted as a boost to his confidence and motivation.
