Tori R.

Tori graduated from Bassano School in Bassano, AB. While there, she was selected to complete research at the University of Alberta as part of the WISEST Summer Research Program. Tori is a competitive dancer, and received the PRIDE Award, presenting personal achievement, respect for teachers/peers, inspiration to others, dedication to dance, and an excellent attitude. Tori felt honored to receive this award as it demonstrated her leadership, teamwork, passion, and dedication. She also scored a mark of 100% on the Physics 30 Diploma Examination.

Tori chose UCalgary because she liked the engineering program and the aerospace minor offered here.

Tori is enrolled in the Bachelor of Science - Engineering program because she enjoys math and science and the creative solutions that engineers develop.

Tori is interested in working in either the aerospace industry to design airplanes or working as a biomedical engineer to improve people’s quality of life.

For Tori, the Prestige Award has opened a vast network of individuals for her to connect with.

Tori is interested in researching biomedical devices and machines to advance the future of biomedical engineering.
