The W. L. Britton Scholarship is designed to reward well rounded, contributing students who have the potential to become excellent lawyers as well as leaders in the profession and in the community.

Award description

  • Offered annually to a student entering second or third year in the Faculty of Law, JD program
  • High academic standing. Placed in the top third of their class
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership qualities, as evidenced through participation in competitive sports and/or volunteerism conducted either within the community, working life or the university during the past five years
  • Submit a statement (500 words) summarizing their teamwork and leadership qualities at the University, within the community or through sports participation.
