Civic Service Union 52
Union 52 Benevolent Society established the CSU 52 Len Douziech Memorial Scholarship in memory of Len who passed away in December 2019 while a member of the Union. Len was a shop steward and he served on the Executive as a Trustee. For nine years, he served on the Members and Community Support Committee including as chair.
As music was a great love of Len and his family, the purpose of this scholarship is to provide support to students entering or enrolled in a music-related program at a post-secondary institution.
Award description
- The applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Permanent resident of Alberta
- Accepted as an undergraduate student at a Canadian post-secondary institution in any undergraduate music-related program leading to a diploma or degree
- Not a previous recipient of this memorial scholarship
