- Offered annually to continuing undergraduate students entering third or fourth year in the Faculty of Science
- Intending to pursue graduate studies in the area of ecology, environmental protection, zoology or marine biology
- Academic merit
- Extra-curricular activities related to the above fields of study
- Applicants must submit an essay (maximum of 1000 words) to the Department of Biological Sciences summarizing their intention to pursue graduate studies in the area of ecology, environmental protection, zoology or marine biology and their participation in extra-curricular activities related to these fields of study by May 1.
