Biography
Mia graduated from Bishop O'Byrne High School in Calgary, Alberta, and has demonstrated a high level of initiative and creativity through her various extracurricular endeavors. Mia taught herself about circuitry and 3D printing and designed and constructed several electric ducted fans from scratch. Mia is also an accomplished musician and enjoys arranging movie soundtrack scores. Mia chose the University of Calgary for her post-secondary studies because she sought a program that balanced theoretical research and real-life experience; She looks forward to co-op opportunities and hands-on learning opportunities offered through various campus clubs. Mia hopes to enter the Aerospace engineering industry when she completes her dual engineering and business degrees at the University of Calgary.
