The Killam family has generously supported the University of Calgary and other universities for many years. Among their awards at the U of C are the Killam Pre-Doctoral Scholarships (in memory of Izaak Walton Killam) and Killam Post-Doctoral Awards.

Award description

  • Offered annually to a full-time visiting undergraduate student from the United States of America enrolled in an official exchange at the University of Calgary
  • Satisfactory academic standing
  • Registered in a minimum of three courses (9 units) per term, however, registration in four courses (12 units) per term is preferable
  • The duration of the exchange or study abroad program may be one term or two terms
  • Student may not receive this award more than once.
