Established in memory of Bettina (Betty) Fournier, an instructor at the University of Calgary since 1978 and one of the founding faculty members of the Faculty of General Studies (now Faculty of Communication and Culture) until her retirement in 1996.

Award description

Offered annually to an undergraduate student in any faculty. Preference is given to a student with a major in Gender and Sexuality Studies. Registered full-time but need not be carrying a full course load
Academic merit. Outstanding performance in WMST 405: Seminar in Feminist Praxis
