Develop your professional skills and earn some volunteer and work experience while supporting international student programming.

Join our volunteer list

Want to get involved? Join our volunteer list where we promote upcoming opportunities to volunteer at events throughout the academic year.

These volunteer opportunities work well with a busy student schedule. They range from an hour, half-day, or full-day commitment depending on the specific event needs. If you’re looking for more structured engagement opportunities, consider participating in the Peer Helper, USpeakGlobal or mentorship programs.

Become a peer helper volunteer

ISS peer helpers are the first point of contact for students who enter the ISS office. Peer helpers offer peer advising to international students by answering questions and connecting students to the appropriate resources. They also play an important role in the success of our ongoing programs and events by supporting PAs in the development and implementation of these events.
