Current research

We are currently working in the study and analysis of a self-similar aftershock model for earthquakes (one which incorporates a generalized version of the Omori-Utsu realtion). The current project consists of creating a synthetic earthquake catalog, investigating possible magnitude correlations as well as studying the stability conditions of the self-similar model.

Research interests

The study of complex systems and its applications to earthquake dynamics, emergent properties of systems, dynamical networks
