Biography
"Everything happens when it's supposed to happen."
Meaghan is a 3rd year Psychology student who moved to Calgary, AB in August of 2021 after completing her BSc. Honours Human Kinetics and MSc. Human Health & Nutritional Sciences specializing in Biomechanics & Neurophysiology at the University of Guelph. She plans to pursue an honours in psychology and has a newfound interest in doing a minor in anthropology. She absolutely loves school and learning (would have to love it to be going into year 9 of post secondary!) and she has a long time dream of going to medical school and becoming a practicing physician, with interests lying in psychiatry and neurophysiology.
Currently, Meaghan works at Metro City Medical Clinic, an Opioid Use Dependency clinic. This is a job that she loves and has been very challenging, rewarding, and has grown her passion for the medical treatment field as she continuously learns about the intricate world of addiction, mental health and the medical system every day.
Outside of school, Meaghan loves to do sports such as rugby and figure skating (her first love since starting skating at the age of 3!), sing and play music, and spend time with her dog, Rosie.
