Linden Penner
Linden's Master's degree falls under the umbrella of the national SHRed concussions study funded by the NFL's Scientific Advisory Board. Linden's research seeks to understand changes in potential blood biomarkers of brain injury as a result of interval exercise in healthy individuals to establish a mechanistic knowledge that can be applied to future investigations seeking utility of prognostic or diagnostic blood biomarkers for sport-related concussion. This work is vital to the development of objective clinical modalities for diagnostic and/or prognostic applications of sport-related concussions.
