• Plays a critical role in the high level leadership of the group, working closely with the Principal Investigator to determine the course of the group
• Includes contributing to research and funding strategies, identifying and helping to secure funding opportunities and shaping the vision, direction and structure of the group
• Plays a key role in all activities undertaken by the research team spanning from hands on technical tasks to high level leadership and visioning
• Has expert knowledge of the hands-on work performed as part of the operations and development activities of the group
• Prepares and submits documentation and other deliverables, technical and financial, required by funding agencies and collaborators
