About

Food insecurity is a critical concern on campus. A recent survey by Meal Exchange (2021) indicated that 47.4% of UCalgary student respondents experienced some level of food insecurity in the 2020–2021 school year. Our partners have a common interest in increasing access to healthy, fresh and culturally appropriate food on campus by establishing the Campus Food Hub.

This space is designed for students to seek out food and education to nourish their bodies and minds and provide relief from the challenges of food insecurity.
