How to use Elevate
All current UCalgary students enrolled in an undergraduate, Master’s, PhD, or open studies program have an account on Elevate.
Access Elevate account:
Current students:

Log in to Elevate by selecting Students on the main page and then use your regular UCalgary credentials to access the portal.

Recent graduates will continue to have general access to Elevate and services up to 13 months after graduation, at which time your account will be switched to an alumni account with limited access.
Alumni:

Log in to Elevate by selecting Alumni and use your previous student ID number and password to access the portal.

Alumni can only access the campus job board.
Prospective students:

Elevate accounts will be created once students register for courses at the start of a semester.
Access the following services by the Centre for Career and Personal Development on Elevate:
- Job board:
- Find and apply for various jobs: summer, full-time, part-time, seasonal or co-op/internships
- Access faculty-specific job boards
- Employer information sessions:
- Register for sessions on information about potential employers
- Career fairs and events:
- Stay updated on upcoming career fairs and events
- Explore micro-placements:
- Register for Explore Micro-placements to gain valuable project-based experience
- Career workshops:
- Discover and register for workshops to develop career skills and map out a journey
- One-on-one career advising:
- Book appointments with advisors for personalized career guidance
- Student life and leadership opportunities:
- Programs for students to transition smoothly into university life
- Opportunities to serve as student ambassadors or representatives on various campus committees
- Leadership workshops and training sessions to develop essential skills like communication, problem solving and teamwork
- Access the Student Activities Fund to support activities that contribute to leadership development
- Additional opportunities:
- Explore leadership opportunities throughout campus and academic support offered by other groups
Elevate serves as the central platform for all career-related needs. It provides a comprehensive range of services and resources to support professional development.
Note: Certain faculties have dedicated career modules. If your program falls under one of these faculties, you will find it listed in the menu when you log in to Elevate.
Elevate is only available to currently registered students and is not available for prospective students, continuing education students, post-doctoral fellows and open studies students who are not currently registered in courses. However, you can still access any of our free online resources anytime.
