Your health is important, and we’re here to make sure you get the care you need. Our on-campus clinic can provide you with medical care and education on a variety of health concerns.
Our chiropractors and massage therapists treat UCalgary students, faculty, staff, postdoctoral scholars, and the public. Make an appointment for treatment of a variety of concerns like stress, injuries, acute and chronic pain, or to improve flexibility.

Dr. Jaclyn Gardiner is a chiropractor who is passionate about helping others. She believes
that ‘movement is medicine’ and strives to help incorporate active, healthy living into her
patient’s lives.
- Dr. Gardiner received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and certificate in Disability Management from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, and Doctor of Chiropractic and certification to perform Functional Integrated Acupuncture from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario.
- Diversified technique which consists of spinal manipulation, soft tissue therapy, muscle release techniques and mobilizations of the spine and extremities.
- Certified as a Medical Acupuncture provider for the management of musculoskeletal pain and injuries.
- Custom Orthotic Assessment and Fitting.
- Additional training in kinesiology taping, soft tissue therapy, Webster Technique (Prenatal Care), Activator Technique, paediatric care, and rehabilitation exercise programs.

- Dr. Jaswal received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from the University of Calgary, Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmar College of Chiropractic West in California, and certification to provide Integrated Needling and Acupuncture from Central Queensland University, Australia.
- Diversified technique which consists of spinal manipulation, soft tissue therapy, muscle release techniques and mobilizations of the spine and extremities.
- Certified in Integrated Needling which focuses on a Western Medical Acupuncture approach to the management of Musculoskeletal pain and injuries.
- Providing other services such as Flexion-Distraction, IASTM, Cupping Therapy, Activator and Stretches/Exercises.
- Custom Orthotic assessment and fitting
- Individualized care which helps patients meet their goals and improves their overall quality of life.

- Dr. Schuster received a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Anatomy from the University of Saskatchewan and Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern College of Chiropractic (now Northwestern Health Science University).
- Diversified technique including soft tissue therapy, manual manipulation/spinal adjustments and mobilization of the spine and extremities
- Activator, Drop-Table, Flexion-Distraction, Mulligan Mobilization, K-tape, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, and PNF/PIR stretching techniques
- Low tech home exercise programs incorporating resistant bands, foam rollers, postural correction, and core strengthening.

Our Massage Therapy Team
Garner has been a massage therapist and fitness trainer for 25 years. He has enjoyed applying his own passions for fitness and healthy living into a rewarding career. He has had the good fortune of working with amateur and professional athletes in a wide range of sports, as well as working with a myriad of people and their chronic and acute conditions and injuries. Garner has been driven to compete in oct-athlons, power lifting, triathlons and a range of other activities that have lead to many accomplishments and a few world records. He continues to challenge his own fitness in every manner.
Linda has been working in the wonderful field of massage for over twenty years. Her education includes degrees in kinesiology, religious studies and a masters in psychology. The massage techniques she uses most often are deep therapeutic, cranial sacral, trigger point therapy, and cupping. She continues to take courses that increase her knowledge and skills to help meet the clinical needs of her clients. Linda especially enjoys employing her knowledge and skills working on a diverse variety of people who benefit from her services at the University of Calgary.
Matt immigrated to Canada from Poland when he was 5yrs old. He turned his passion for sports into successful endeavours into the worlds of rugby, football, boxing and submission wrestling. This pursuit of active living eventually led him to study kinesiology at the University of Calgary and later work in the strength and conditioning world, owning and operating his own studio for 12yrs. With his massage training he works with everyone from the general population and rehabilitation clients to athletes.
Rihana started her massage journey in 2018. She has experience working with repetitive strains, whiplash, sports injuries and chronic pain. Using a combination of general Swedish and fascial techniques, Rihana is always looking for muscle tension or trigger points to work on. She's completed additional courses in Dynamic Cupping, TMJD treatments, and Pre-Natal massage, and enjoys working with anyone who wants to reconnect with their body.
Mavis is yet another transplant from Saskatchewan. Mavis started out working with junior hockey as a trainer, and expanded into working with high performance athletes, post attending U of C and MRU. Through out her career she has worked with a number of Canada’s National Teams, and worked at 4 Olympic Games, Commonwealth and Pan American Games, Paralympics, and multiple World Championships. Mavis is one of a few Sports Massage Fellows in Canada.
