In this day and age, there is not a day that goes by where you do not have some form of interaction with a computer. This could be in the form of a cell phone, a tablet, a laptop, a wearable device, or a desktop computer. With online learning, it is important you feel comfortable using either a laptop or desktop computer.
Think back to a time when you had to use a laptop or a desktop computer. As you remember as many facts as possible, consider the following questions:
What did you use it for in the past? To do work, play, or study?
Did you use it at home, in a classroom, the library, or at work?
What was the assignment or task you had to complete?
What software or apps did you have to use to complete the task?
Did you have any major technical difficulties?
Was there some kind of support available to you? Possibly a teacher, a technical support person, or a friend?
Finally, how did you feel? Did you feel empowered, confident, curious, involved, or calm when you were completing the task? Or did you feel frustrated, confused, or less involved when you struggled to complete it?
