IT Account/UCalgary Email

Students should set up a University of Calgary IT Account as soon as possible — it is needed to access your UCalgary email and the Student Accessibility Services' Clockwork Student Portal.


How to Set Up Your IT Account and UCalgary Email

It is very important to set up your IT Account and access your UCalgary email. Student Accessibility Services primarily communicates with students through UCalgary emails. All appointment information, reminders, and booking confirmations are sent to your UCalgary email only*.

Go to the IT Account Registration Page and follow the instructions to set up your account.

Follow the prompts and enter your UCID# and last name.

Once set up, this automatically creates your UCalgary email address.

By setting up your IT account, you automatically activate your UCalgary email.

To access your UCalgary email go to and enter your IT Account username and password to log in.

*If you are taking Continuing Education courses exclusively or have not yet applied to the University of Calgary you may not be eligible for a University of Calgary IT Account. Let the SAS Main Office know so that alternative arrangements can be made.
