The Community and Research Engagement (CARE) Symposium offers a full day of interactive learning about the latest in injury prevention research from the Sport Injury Prevention Research Centre and around the world. Learning outcomes of the day include practical knowledge and research-based injury prevention practices and knowledge you will be able to share with organizations, stakeholders, parents and youth.
The agenda will feature three separate symposia with panels, discussion and student talks about: injury prevention in women and girls sport, rugby specific player protection research, and a symposia focused on concussion prevention in sports and recreation.
Meals will be provided along with opportunities to talk with presenters, colleagues, and fellow attendees. Student research posters will also be available to be viewed, along with an opportunity to talk with student authors of their work and posters. The event is free to attend.
