Residence Ski Trip

Registration information (Registration form below)

You must be a current resident student living on campus to attend. 

Registration is first come first serve. The first 100 registrations will be offered a spot to attend.

Those who are not in the first 100 registrations will be added to a wait list. If a participant is unable to attend, the first person on the wait list will fill that spot, and will receive an email with further information.

Payment information

Following the registration period, the first 100 registrants will see a $90 charge in their Residence account to cover the cost of the lift ticket and transportation. Be sure to complete the payment before Wednesday, March 12th, 2025.

Timeline for the day of the trip (March 16th):

•  Bus loading starts at 6:00 a.m. Estimated time of arrival at Sunshine Village Ski Resort is 8:00 a.m.
•  The bus will leave Sunshine Village Ski Resort at 4:30 p.m. and estimated arrival back on campus at 6:00 p.m.

*Note: all Residents must sign a waiver on the day of the ski trip to participate. Waivers will be provided upon arrival to the bus in the morning.

Rentals

As Residence Services will not be providing any equipment for the ski trip, we recommend visiting the Outdoor Centre to rent your equipment if you don't have your own.

Whether your skiing or snowboarding, the Outdoor Centre has you covered. Get your skis, snowboards, boots, helmets and goggles all in one place. Plus, as a Residence student, you have a $25 credit to use towards rentals! This is the perfect opportunity to cash that in! Renting through the Outdoor Centre is an affordable and convenient option. Walk-up rentals are not available and must be pre-booked online.

Lessons

Ski and snowboard lessons are not included in the registration cost. If you would like to participate in lessons, you will need to coordinate with Sunshine Village Ski Resort. Click here for more information on lessons.
