Single suites are fully furnished with everything you need to feel at home, including comfortable beds, spacious closets, and study desks. You'll have free high-speed internet, on-site coin laundry facilities, free parking and 24/7 security to ensure your safety and peace of mind.
With study areas, a dedicated CA on-site and Residence programing there will be plenty of opportunities to socialize and connect with other students. You'll have access to a range of communal spaces, including large community kitchen, a gym and an indoor pool.
Living at Aloft
Aloft is not a UCalgary residence building. It is a privately owned hotel with a variety of guests. While living in Aloft you will need to follow Residence Services Agreement.
A few things will differ between living on-campus vs. Aloft including:
- Maintenance request/issues to be reported to Aloft front desk
- 24-hour front desk
- Residents living in Aloft are welcome at all residence wide events
- UCalgary Campus security does not service this building. Call the Aloft front desk or contact the Community Ambassador (CA)
- Residents will be required to stay for the Academic 24/25 term and not will be able to transfer to main campus residence
- One train stop away or a 25 - 30 minute walk to center of main campus (all full time students receive free transit, which includes the train)
- Search, Aloft Calgary University, when looking on Google/Apple Maps
