Residence Parking Permits

Student Permit Portal

Fall/Winter 2020-2021 academic year.

Residence Parking Permits will be sold online or in person starting on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 8 a.m. for the upcoming academic year (Sept. 2020 – April 2021).

Please note that if you live in Residence and need parking, there will be a spot available for you.

Please follow the instructions below to purchase the permit online through the our website:

  • Log in to the Parking website with your eID and password
  • You will require a photo or scan of the vehicle registration that you plan to register to your permit.
  • Select one of the following locations:
    • Residence Art Parkade Fall/Winter - $1085.30 + GST for eight months
    • Residence Lot 49 Fall/Winter - $897.60 + GST for eight months
    • Residence Lot 2 Fall/Winter - $897.60 + GST for eight months
    • Residence Lot 65 Fall/Winter - $897.60 + GST for eight months. Only students living in Crowsnest Hall can apply for Lot 65.
  • The lots listed above are the only lots available for Residence Permits. Do not purchase a McMahon permit as vehicles cannot be parked in the lot overnight
  • Follow the steps on the web page to purchase your permit. Forms of payment accepted include Visa, MasterCard or American Express
  • You will receive an email confirming your purchase
  • Permits will be available for pick up from the Parking Office starting Aug. 17 but the permits are not valid until Sept. 1.
  • Permits will be available for pick up on Residence Move-In Day, Sunday, Aug. 30 in the Blue Room, located in the Dining Centre.
  • You must pick up your permit in person. You will be required to provide the following documentation before your permit will be released to you:
    • Picture ID
    • License plate number(s)

To purchase the permit in person:

  • Go to the Parking Services Office located at the North End of McMahon Stadium in the Olympic Volunteer Centre, room 146 *(location subject to change)
  • You will be required to provide the following documentation before your permit will be released to you:
    • Picture ID
    • Proof of vehicle registration
    • License plate number(s)
       
  • Forms of payment accepted include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit, cash or cheque
  • The permit will not be valid until Sept. 1, 2020

The lots above are the only lots allocated for residence students to park in with a valid permit displayed at all times. The permit that is assigned to the student is to be used only by that student and for the vehicle registered with the permit. If a permit is found in a vehicle that has not been registered to the permit, it will be ticketed and/or towed.
