Sensory-Friendly Space on Campus

The Sensory-Friendly Space at the University of Calgary is a dedicated, calming environment that provides a peaceful refuge for individuals who experience sensory sensitivities. 

This space aims to reduce overwhelming stimuli such as loud noises, bright lights, and busy visuals, offering a safe and quiet area for anyone needing a break from the hustle and bustle of campus life. The Sensory-friendly study space includes adjustable lighting, flexible seating, study zones, and various sensory tools. It is an inclusive resource to support the mental and emotional health of the UCalgary community, ensuring everyone has a space where they can recharge and focus. 

Location: TFDL 355D (Taylor Family Digital Library, third floor)
Hours: Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Thursday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
