Lisa started working with the Sport Injury Prevention Research Centre as a research assistant in September 2013. In June 2015, she transitioned into her role as a research coordinator for the Prevention of Early Osteoarthritis (PrEOA) Knee study and other PrE-OA projects. Along side those projects, she coordinates the SHRed Consequences of Concussion study, and has been managing the SIPRC website since 2018.
Lisa completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2014 at the University of Calgary. Following that, she obtained a Massage Therapy Diploma (2016) from Mount Royal University, and a Phlebotomy Certificate (2016) from SAIT. She is currently working on a Digital Marketing Certificate through the University of Calgary Continuing Education department.
Outside of SIPRC, Lisa works as a massage therapist, both at a clinic and running her own business. When not working, you can find her out in the garden, camping or tackling DIY projects around the house.
