Emily Heming

Emily Heming is a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Carolyn Emery. She graduated in 2021 from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Integrated Science with a specialization in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour and a minor in Statistics. Emily then completed her MSc in Kinesiology under the supervision of Dr. Carolyn Emery in 2022. Emily has been involved in many sports throughout her life, with a special focus on both ringette and golf. Emily is combining her love for female ice sports and research as her current research focus in the Sport Injury Prevention Research Centre is evaluating various injury and concussion prevention strategies in youth ringette.
