Cohesic Solutions
Cohesic Solutions is helping healthcare providers have access to better health data through products like cardioDI and intakeDI. By providing decision intelligence to physicians and healthcare executives that harnesses cutting-edge data science, the product is helping to inform care, reduce uncertainty, improve communication, increase efficiency and accelerate research. Its platform provides both the Intelligence Infrastructure to capture high-quality data during the process of care and the intelligence augmentation tools to improve clinical decisions. The result is a standardized workflow for healthcare professionals, better data to support clinical decisions, and better care for patients.
With millions of people worldwide suffering from chronic heart disease, the cardioDI platform focuses on cardiovascular diagnostic imaging, helping to empower clinicians with essential health data so that they can better treat their patients. The products, cardioDI and intakeDI, have been commercialized for Canadian, U.S. and U.K. markets.
Cohesic Solutions has been supported by the UCeed Haskayne Student Fund, run by students at the University of Calgary. Working through the investment process with students who had a significant desire to learn was a great experience for the company. UCeed was an investor in its most recent seed+ financing round.
“UCeed is a great opportunity for students to get exposed to investment process early in their career and also introduces great companies to a new community of investors," says Jordan Engbers, CEO of Cohesic Solutions.
Over the next two years, Cohesic Solutions plans to develop and commercialize predictive decision intelligence tools to continue growing the value of its solutions, ultimately leading to a Series A round of financing.
