As a champion of the tech, education and health sectors, Mike Begin’s leadership has impacted several organizations and boards throughout his career. He is President and CEO of Spartan Controls, Western Canada’s leading provider of automation solutions and process control technology. He has supported many startups as an advisor and is currently a fellow and associate with Creative Destruction Lab Rockies. His leadership has impacted many organizations in Western Canada, across the post-secondary, health and non-profit sectors. He is on the industry advisory council for the Schulich School of Engineering at the University of Calgary, Director at the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation and past Chair of Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT).
