2015 Award Recipients

Aaron has represented the University of Calgary at 17 engineering and consulting competitions across the world, but his volunteer contributions to the Calgary community are even more significant. Aaron has co-chaired the Relay for Life event at the University of Calgary for the last four years and has helped to raise $175,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society. He served as a Community Advisor for Residence Services for the past three years, taking on the part of a mentor and role model by organizing events and support sessions, and assisting students in need. Aaron was elected as VP Academic for the Biomedical Engineering Students’ Society, served as the Sponsorship Commissioner for the Chemical Engineering Students’ Society, and was chosen by the engineering graduating class as the Student of the Year.
