Tyler Hume, Bachelor of Nursing
Tyler volunteers at open houses, visits high schools to speak about nursing, and has been instrumental in coordinating what has become an annual ‘men in nursing’ recruitment event for high school students.
Tyler has served as a yearly representative for the Undergraduate Nursing Society, and he also participates in the faculty’s Undergraduate Program Evaluation Committee. Tyler volunteers at open houses, visits high schools to speak about nursing, and has been instrumental in coordinating what has become an annual ‘men in nursing’ recruitment event for high school students. In 2011, he established the Nursing Guys Club to promote positive messages regarding male nurses and their role in health care.
