Orientation pep rally

I've accepted my offer

Welcome to your future at UCalgary. Your journey begins now

Congratulations!

You’ve accepted your offer and paid your deposit – what’s next?

Set up your UCalgary IT account

Now that you’ve confirmed your seat, you’ll need to set up your UCalgary IT account. Your IT account will replace your eID as your way to access your Student Centre. Your IT account will also activate your @ucalgary.ca email address. The university will send all future communications to your UCalgary email address. Make sure you check it regularly!

Review and meet your conditions

Many students are admitted conditionally. That means your spot at UCalgary is subject to the conditions outlined in your Student Centre. At a minimum, all students admitted conditionally must complete all required courses for admission and maintain the competitive admission average. You can view your conditions of admission by clicking on the ‘status’ of your application in your Student Centre.

  • Make sure you read and understand your conditions and the deadlines to meet them.
  • If you’re an international student, you’ll automatically receive a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) if it’s required. You can use your conditional offer of admission letter and your PAL to apply for your study permit. We encourage you to apply for your study permit as soon as possible!
  • If you have any questions about your conditions, check out our conditional admission blog post or contact our team.
