Dr. Vineetha Warriyar K.V joined the Sport Injury Prevention Research Centre (SIPRC) as a Statistical Research Data Analyst in 2018. Vineetha has a Master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Waterloo and a PhD in Statistics from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She has held varying positions in the research institutes as well as in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining SIPRC, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Calgary. Vineetha has several years of experience in teaching, data analysis and statistical consultancy. As a Statistician she has been involved in several projects (both academia and industry) working with multidisciplinary teams that need development of research methods, analyses, and scientific interpretation of the results.
