Mechanism (Pathophysiology)

What is the underlying brain injury associated with concussion and what does it suggest about possible treatment?

The ICRP is conducting basic scientific studies on the neurobiology of concussion using innovative animal models. The basic scientists work closely with scientists involved in clinical research with human participants, to capitalize on basic science as a vital translational research platform for improving the diagnosis and care of concussion.
