NEUROMETABOLIC IMPAIRMENT IN TBI

Project Description:

This is a lab based study examining the role of TBI on mitochondrial dynamics (form and function)_ and how this related to short and long terms outcomes. The work involves using an animal model of pediatric TBI in conjunction with extensive behavioural evaluation of outcomes, and molecular analysis of altered mitochondrial dynamics in collaboration with Dr. Tim Shutt.
