William Bridel
Dr. William Bridel is an award-winning professor with the Faculty of Kinesiology, focusing on sociocultural studies of sport, physical activity, and the body. His research interests include investigating safe and inclusive sport as well as sport-related pain and injury using qualitative research methods. Current projects include LGBTQI2S+ inclusion in figure skating, diversity and inclusion in Canadian sport system policies, and athletes’ experiences of sport-related concussion.
