In addition to the Faculty of Graduate Studies’ admission requirements, all applicants must meet the following requirements:
a) Completion of one specialization of the Graduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing Practice I and a second specialization of the Graduate Certificate in Advanced Nursing Practice II with a minimum GPA of 3.00. (The specialization in Advanced Nursing Practice II must be different from the specialization in Advanced Nursing Practice I);
b) Successful completion of one undergraduate 3-unit course in research methodology;
c) Successful completion of one undergraduate 3-unit course in statistics;
d) Evidence of active nursing registration in Alberta through the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA) or active nursing registration in their province or territory of employment;
e) A letter of commitment from the identified supervisor indicating willingness to provide supervision throughout the program of studies and supporting the applicant’s study plan.
