Andrea Morris leads the Development and Alumni teams for the University of Calgary.

Andrea joined the University of Calgary in 2015 to lead Energize: The Campaign for Eyes High, a $1.4B initiative which closed successfully in 2020 as the third largest fundraising campaign in Canadian history. She and her teams are responsible for building and stewarding relationships with donors and stakeholders to support UCalgary’s mission. In 2021, she served as Interim Vice-President, Advancement (Development). 

Prior to 2015, she spent 15 years in progressively responsible roles in development and alumni relations at the University of Alberta. She led the expansion of the University’s presence in Calgary and was instrumental in the success of its $600M centenary Campaign. She began her career at her alma mater, the University of Ottawa.  

Andrea was recognized with the 2022 Outstanding Achievement Award by the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education (CCAE).
