Will’s primary role in EBG is the management and maintenance of the photobioreactor pilot plant. The goal of this pilot facility is to develop a robust method to capture atmospheric carbon dioxide and convert it into algal biomass for use in fuel production. Will is also investigating the gas generation rates from microorganisms present in oil reservoirs. He holds a BSc and PhD in chemical engineering, both from the University of Calgary.
