Shengjie Li

Biography

Shengjie Li is a visiting PhD student from Peking University in the Energy Bioengineering group, under the supervision of Dr. Marc Strous. Her current research focuses on microbial ecology in groundwater samples of Alberta based on metagenomics and proteomics techniques. She received a B.Sc. in Shandong University in China. During her PhD in Peking University, Shengjie mainly researched on the contribution and community structure of autotrophic nitrate reduction driven by sulfur and iron in shallow lakes.
