Activities

Ruchita is a student in the Microbial Markets Lab under the supervision of Dr. Marc Strous. She received her B.Sc in Biological Sciences with minors in Chemistry and Psychology from University of Cincinnati, US in 2020. Currently Ruchita’s research goals are to understand the interactions between competing diatoms and cyanobacteria found in soda lakes and the possible role of secondary metabolites in these interactions.
