Calgary Reads
Calgary Reads collaborates with schools, families, professionals and community partners to support, facilitate and advocate for early literacy. They do this through programs and initiatives designed for children from birth to eight years of age, and through work with parents, teachers, mentors, caregivers and communities in which our children grow.
City of Calgary

Big Brothers Big Sisters champions the health and wellbeing of youth; they step in before it’s too late to help prevent the physical and mental effects of adverse childhood experiences.

MICYRN
The Maternal Infant Child and Youth Research Network (MICYRN) is a federal not-for-profit organization that links 21 maternal and child health research organizations from academic health centres across Canada, is affiliated with more than 20 practice-based research networks to provide support to new and emerging teams, and has established strong national and international partnerships.

Centering Pregnancy
Centering Pregnancy is group prenatal care bringing women due at the same time out of exam rooms and into a comfortable group setting, giving moms more time with their providers and encouraging moms to engage more directly in their prenatal care.
