Single-leg glides with stops
Category: Balance
Level: 2
1-2 widths/leg
- Players will push off and glide forward on one leg in a straight line for as long as they can, maintaining control as they pass back and forth with a partner
 - Maintain knee alignment over ankle
 - Keep torso upright and positioned straight ahead
 - Keep stick on ice

- Knee collapsing inward
 - Leaning to either side
 - Head down looking at the ring

- Single-leg glides are useful for ringette players to maintain good knee control and ankle stability.
 - Strong foot/ankle position ensures movement occurs forward (and not to either side).
