UFlourish Microfunding Program

We want to increase access and create opportunities for our community to bring connection and joy to others. 

Microfunding Form

This microfunding will allow successful UCalgary students, staff and faculty applicants to purchase supplies or expense activities to engage in with their peers or team. Please note there is a limited amount of funds available, and not all applicants who apply will be selected. 

Examples of what this funding can be used for (but not limited to):

  • Team trip to a coffee shop
  • Purchasing an item to encourage team bonding (e.g. art supplies, polaroid camera, office plants, picnic blanket, etc.)
  • Pizza party
  • Active Living classes

Microfunding will be administered to staff and faculty through expense reports. Successful applicants will first be notified of their approved spending. These applicants will then make their purchases and submit receipts through PeopleSoft (we will share the accounting string to charge your purchase(s) to).  

**Microfunding will need to be coordinated with students differently.** UFlourish staff will work with students to identify supplies (e.g. art supplies, food, decorations, etc) they wish to purchase. UFlourish staff will then make the purchase and coordinate a hand-off with the student.  

Applications are now open and close at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024. Successful applicants will be notified by December 2. Funds must be spent by February 28, 2025 with expense reports submitted by March 14, 2025.
