Nidhi joined the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, at the University of Calgary as a PhD in January 2015. Nidhi obtained her Masters in Lifesciences from India and Masters from McGill in Parasitology. During her MSc in Parasitology she worked with Schistosoma mansoni, a parasite causing tropical disease Schistosomiasis.
Working under the supervision of Dr. John Gilleard, Nidhi’s project is “Role of UDP-glucuronosyltransferase (UGT) in nematode benzimidazole metabolism.”
