There is a solid body of research, scholarship, and experience on how diversity and inclusivity foster a sense of belonging, tap into diverse knowledge, ways of knowing, and skills, and fuel productivity. This research tends to focus more on the non-profit and private sectors, but the findings are also applicable to some of the work of the postsecondary sector.
