Did you know your Unicard is one of the most valuable things you have in your wallet?
Last month, we posted the first of a series of articles letting you in on all the not-so-well-known ways your Unicard can save you money. In case you missed it, the first tip was about your $25 Active Living/Outdoor Centre credit.
This month, we're working on getting you cultured and keeping you entertained. And the best part is that this tip won't cost you a dime!
Ready to learn how your Unicard can fill your evenings with free fun? Here's your tip for October:
Tip #2: Claim Your Seat
Are you the type of person who wants to be in any audience, no matter if it’s dancers, actors or musicians (or all three!) on stage?
If the answer is yes, this is a deal you won’t want to miss!
Hosted by UCalgary’s School of Creative and Performing Arts, the Claim Your Seat program gets you free tickets to dance, drama and musical performances on campus.
That’s right. FREE.
To claim your seat, all you need to do is:
#1. show up at a performance 15-45 minutes before it begins
#2. show your Unicard to the person at the Claim Your Seat table next the box office
#3 Find your seat in the venue
Keep in mind that tickets are limited, so you’ll want to show up early to make sure you get in.
And remember to clap as loudly as you can when the show’s over. Chances are the performers are your fellow classmates, so make sure you show them some love!
