Note to potential graduate students:

Thesis-based positions of PhD or MSc/PhD studies are open in the Visualization and Interaction Laboratory.  These positions require the completion of a MSc or BSc degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering (equivalent), Computer Sciences, or Electrical Engineering with good skills in object-oriented programming (such as C++), strong math skills, and proficiency in English writing.  Great asset is knowledge of BMI, haptics, computer graphics, human-computer interaction, AI/ML, multi-dimensional signal processing, or/and pattern recognition.

It is unfortunately impractical to respond to all inquiries regarding graduate studies.   Information on graduate studies at our department (including admissions and research activities) is at the web-page: https://schulich.ucalgary.ca/electrical-computer/programs/graduate
