March 17, 2020
At the University of Calgary, the health and safety of our community is our number-one priority. The COVID-19 situation is rapidly evolving, and business continuity planning is ongoing for faculty, staff and students. The University of Calgary’s campuses remain open. However, we recognize that many faculty and staff are able to work from home, and we want to support those individuals who wish to work from home.
Remote working guidelines and resources for employees and leaders can be found here.
Faculty and staff are expected to take the following steps to enable working online from home. These actions will ensure you will have the capability to login and ensure all data transmissions are secure.
The IT Support Centre will be available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. from March 17 to 20. We anticipate high volumes of calls to the support centre in the coming days and appreciate your patience as we work to support you during these challenging times.
Additional protocols and guidance for remote access are available here.
Sincerely,
Linda Dalgetty
Vice President (Finance and Services)
