Sajjad Kavyani earned his doctorate in Polymer and Material Science (2024) from the University of Alberta, Canada, where his research focused on developing computational platforms to investigate the environmental stress cracking process of polyethylene, predict polyolefins’ mechanical properties, and optimize their reaction processes. During his master’s studies and subsequent work, he explored the interactions of polymers, biopolymers, and carbon nanotubes to enhance their composition in nanomaterials. In 2024, he joined the Centre for Advanced Polymers and Nanotechnology (CAPNA) at the University of Calgary, where his research focuses on polymer blends, polymer processing, and nanocomposites.
