Master of Science

Calin Lencar received his BSc in chemical engineering at the University of Calgary and moved on to pursue an MSc in the same discipline with CAPNA. As a 2nd year MSc student, Calin's research is focused on the phase migration of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) within immiscible polymer blends, with the aim of developing low cost and high-performance polymer nanocomposites for electrical applications. Calin is also passionate about teaching and presenting and has received a teaching assistant award, as well as 1st place in the "Polymers, Materials, Colloids, and Interfacial Sciences" category at the 2021 CPEG Conference.
