Addictive Behaviours Lab

About the Lab

The Addictive Behaviours Lab (ABL) is headed by Dr. David Hodgins.

The ABL's primary focuses are gambling addiction and substance abuse. Projects in this lab investigate the clinical condition of pathological gambling and potential treatment approaches. As well, our research explores various aspects of the psychology and physiology of addictive behaviours.

The ABL works closely with the Substance Use and Gambling Lab in the Department of Psychology at the University of Calgary, and the Alberta Gambling Research Institute (AGRI).
